01 Problem
France's AGEC law requires environmental information on products. At Holis, it had to appear directly on e-commerce clients' product pages: third-party code, injected into pages we don't control, that must neither slow down nor break the host site, across 17 product categories.
02 Solution
A multi-tenant Node/Express TypeScript server, with PostgreSQL and Prisma, rendering the widget with React SSR. On the client, a ~16 KB dependency-free script injects it. I chose a client-side optimisation over a Redis cache: a component you don't build is a component you don't have to maintain.
03 My role
End-to-end owner from design to production, with about 60% of the commits. I validate every release with a load test and share the metrics with clients.
