IoT Monitoring
Poultry-farm monitoring, from sensor to real-time dashboard.
01 Problem
A farmer needs instant alerts on heat or low water, and a way to control ventilation remotely.
02 Solution
ESP32 firmware publishes readings over MQTT. A NestJS API validates them strictly (the broker is public), raises alerts and sends commands back. A Next.js dashboard shows everything live through Socket.io.
03 My role
Personal project, built alone.
Technical highlights
- Refactored a monolithic Arduino sketch into layers: config, drivers, services and transport.
- The whole chain starts with one docker-compose: client, API, PostgreSQL and Mosquitto.
